Southern Polytechnic is a residential, co-educational member of the University System of Georgia. Located on 203 acres of naturally wooded landscape in the city of Marietta, the 5,500 students are from 36 states and 64 countries.

The campus lacked directional signage, which caused students and visitors to become easily lost and frustrated. Huie Design created a master sign plan, site entry gateway, site signage and vehicular and pedestrian wayfinding to satisfy the project needs. Huie Design continues to be a resource for SPSU.
