Battle House

Established in 1851, the Battle House Hotel has been a fixture in downtown Mobile, Ala. In a royal marriage of opposites, Huie Design established a vivid connection between the historic hotel and the 35-story contemporary RSA tower, creating signage and wayfinding for 238 guest rooms, 40,000 square feet of event space, regal ballrooms and a six-story parking garage.

Huie designed an elegant new logo and elaborate cornerstone medallion that affirms the property’s heritage. Made using a unique cast-resin process, the medallion looks like solid limestone, but weighs far less.
